
The 2010 Southern Entrepreneurship in the ArtsSM Conference was a huge success!
On Saturday, March 27, 2010, 352 people, including 133 students, 169 artists from the community and 50 sponsors, speakers and committee members gathered in the Elliott University Center to learn about prevailing in the business world as artists. Monetary and in-kind donations totaled more than $10,000 from 20 sponsors.
Eighteen prominent speakers participated, including reknowned artists William Mangum,Owner, William Mangum Fine Art, Jim Gallucci, Owner, Jim Gallucci Sculpture Ltd., and Falcon, Senior Partner, Nyght Falcon Photography. Herman Sperling, well known innovation expert was the keynote speaker.
The cross-campus committee worked extremely hard to make this event a success. Committee members included: Dianne H.B.
